My Allergy Is Driving Me Nuts! is a teen-founded nonprofit started by Cathryn and Jackson Murray after winning $10,000 from Philanthropy Tank to turn their ideas into a life-saving project. They educate and advocate for food allergy awareness so kids with food allergies can feel safe, seen, and confident and those without are educated and ready to act in case of emergency.

Cat’s Story

Hi, I'm Cat, and like many others, I live with a severe nut allergy. It's been a journey of learning, adapting, and sometimes, yes, it truly feels like my allergy is driving me nuts! But it's also inspired me to help others.

From navigating school and soccer practices to dining out, every day presents unique challenges and triumphs. Through this platform, I want to share my experiences, the scary moments, the funny misunderstandings, and how I've learned to stay safe and thrive. Join me and my brother Jackson as we explore what it's like to live with allergies and how we can all be better friends and allies.
